David Shrigley is a British contemporary artist known for his distinctive drawings, sculptures, and darkly humorous observations of everyday life. Born in Macclesfield in 1968, Shrigley developed a deliberately simple visual style that combines crude linework with witty, often absurd text and imagery. His work has earned him international recognition and a strong following among both art institutions and private collectors.

Shrigley’s instantly recognizable style has made his work highly sought after across the global art market. His sculptures, paintings, prints, and editions have achieved strong demand, while his collaborations and public artworks have expanded his reach beyond the traditional art world. Today, he is regarded as one of Britain’s most recognizable and commercially successful contemporary artists.
